To start this discussion, I would like to point out that not only is it blatantly disrespectful to our organization, it also creates a metric fuck-ton of work for me to do, both on the roster and on the website when people do not show up that I expected to. I cannot, as a single individual, be depended upon to hunt each and every one of you down just so I can be told you dont 'feel' like attending an event. If, for legitimate reasons, you cannot attend an event, there is an LOA section on the website for a reason, fill one out so we know you are still active! Due to my unhappiness with unit activity levels, we have now introduced a 'Standby' policy. The jail room at the top of our Teamspeak has been replaced with a 'Standby Room'. What is the standby room, and what is its purpose? The channel description, as well as the policy itself, is described below :
ALL 101st AIRBORNE DIVISION MEMBERS :
You are required to be in this channel if you are at your PC playing games! Please give a thank-you the to inactive cucks, who are the prime reason for the creation of this policy. To combat excessive unit inactivity, it is now unit policy to be in this channel whenever you are gaming, so that active members can be counted and all members can promptly be informed of new events. Don't like this policy? Then you are the reason why average event attendance is at roughly 5 members per-event, and you will be swiftly kicked out of the unit. Are you not in this channel when you're at your PC and ready to game? An infraction point (IP) will be added to your name on the unit roster. Be active, be aware of unit events, and be motivated to participate in them. - or else don't be in the unit. We wont want you, and we wont care about you!
TL;DR - Be in this channel (or any other Teamspeak channel) at all times when you are playing games at your computer.
It is up to everyone within the unit to help me enforce this policy. The future of our events depends on it!
